Specialty Care Pediatrics provides in-home, one-on-one pediatric care to medically fragile patients in Shawnee, Oklahoma. We match nurses to patients based on skills, acuity, location and health needs, offering 4–16 hour shifts with full-time, part-time or PRN options and day or night coverage.

We value compassionate, reliable nurses who can follow physician plans, document diligently, and coordinate with the care team. Training is provided for new grads; travel to patient homes may be required.

Formación

• Active RN or LPN license issued by a State Board of Nursing (new grads welcome, training provided)
• Current CPR/BLS
• Proficiency in basic nursing skills and knowledge of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Organized and able to manage priorities
• Willing to travel to clinic locations as needed

Responsabilidades

• Implements physicians' prescribed plan of care, including assessments, administration of medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on patients in accordance with Specialty Care Pediatrics policies and procedures in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
• Provides health care/management, education and support of patient and/or family members regarding diagnosis, plan of care, preventative and maintenance of care.
• Maintains clinical expertise and competency as well as demonstrates thorough knowledge of procedures to deliver quality primary health care in coordination with the health care team.
• Identifies, reports and responds promptly to changes in patient’s condition according to Specialty Care Pediatrics policy.
• Willing to travel to any clinic location as needed.
