Job summary

Specialty Care Pediatrics is seeking compassionate nurses to provide in-home care for medically fragile pediatric patients in Oklahoma. We match nurses based on skill, acuity, location, age and health condition, offering 4–16 hour shifts and options for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in basic nursing skills and knowledge of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage priorities.
  • Ability to follow physician plans of care and coordinate with health care team.

Responsibilities

  • Implements physicians' prescribed plan of care, including assessments, medications, treatments and therapies.
  • Maintain ongoing tracking and documentation on patients in accordance with policies.
  • Provides health care, education and support to patient and/or family.
  • Maintains clinical expertise and demonstrates knowledge of procedures.
  • Identifies and responds promptly to changes in patient condition; travel to clinic locations as needed.

We provide continuous in-home care to medically fragile patients needed to keep them safe with their loved ones. Our nurses make a positive and long-lasting impact on their patient’s lives by providing one-on-one care. We provide flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 16 hour shifts.
