Jobot in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a passionate Full-time, permanent Registered Nurse - OR Circulator to join our dynamic operating room team. The ideal candidate will deliver top-quality patient care in orthopedic procedures, maintaining sterile technique and collaborating with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety.

Day shifts are available (4x10s or 5x8s) with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. The role offers excellent benefits, lunch provided daily, and a robust professional

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Connecticut RN licensure required.
• 2+ years of circulating experience; orthopedic experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery, set up instruments and maintain sterile conditions.
• Adhere to safety standards and verify patient identity and procedure.
• Assess patients pre-surgery and comfort them; alleviate anxiety.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety during operations.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain patient safety during procedures.
• Coordinate post-operative care and patient recovery.
• Document actions and communicate care needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain competency.
