An award-winning surgery center in Connecticut is looking for a passionate Registered Nurse – OR Circulator to join their team. This full-time role focuses on providing excellent patient care in the operating room, particularly in orthopedic procedures. The center offers no call, no weekends, and a thorough supportive culture. Ideal candidates should hold a BSN and licensure as a Registered Nurse, along with at least two years of experience in nursing, preferably in orthopedics. Salary ranges from $39 to $54 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in orthopedics.
• Must be able to assess patients before surgery and provide comfort.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and set up surgical instruments.
• Adhere to safety standards and verify patient identity.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments during surgery.
• Monitor patient vital signs during the operation.
