Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse - OR Circulator for a full-time, permanent role at an ambulatory surgery center in Connecticut. The position offers 4x10s or 5x8s shifts, days starting at 7am, with no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and CT RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience, including orthopedic exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgery and maintain sterile conditions.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and sterile supplies.
• Monitor vital signs and patient safety during surgery.
• Assess patients preoperatively (NPO status) and address anxiety.
• Coordinate post-operative care and room turnover.
• Document actions and communicate patient care needs.
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain competency.
