Job summary

Spencer Hospital, a community hospital in Spencer, IA, seeks an experienced Surgery RN Circulator to join our operating room team. You will deliver individualized nursing care in the OR, coordinate with staff, and ensure quality patient outcomes during shifts that may include on-call on evenings and weekends.

Candidates should have IA RN licensure (or compact state), at least one year of OR circulator experience, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Surgery RN Circulator preferred.
• Active IA RN license or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS are required or provided in-house at hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care in the Operating Room.
• Assume responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during the shift.
• Collaborate with nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
• Utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols for physical and psychological needs.

Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.Spencer Hospital Surgery Center performs a multitude of specialties including: general, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, and endoscopy averaging 550+ surgeries per month.
