Qualifications

• One year experience as an Surgery RN Circulator preferred
• Active IA RN license or compact state
• BLS and ACLS required or at time of hire (in-house education provided)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Operating Room area
• Assume the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
• Collaborate with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
