Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced RN Operating Room Circulating to join the OR team. This role requires a current AZ RN license, 1+ year of med-surg or acute care experience, and an evening 3x12-hour shift schedule.

The RN will provide perioperative care, monitor and prepare patients, administer medications, and collaborate with surgeons and the multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Arizona nursing license or compact licensure required; must obtain AZ license within 60 days.
• RN experience in med-surg or acute settings, 1+ year, required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice follows ANA standards; conducts nursing assessments, records history and symptoms, and helps develop a care plan.
• Administers medications, initiates IV therapy, and collaborates on treatment plans with physicians.
• Educates patients and families on care plans, post-treatment needs, and home care instructions.
• Precepts and mentors staff, delegates tasks, and supports competency development across the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate and improve patient care and outcomes.
