Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming, seeks an RN Associate Director of the Operating Room to lead a large, dedicated team of RNs, surgical techs, and operating room techs in a Level II Trauma Center.

The role oversees clinical and financial operations, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and staff development. BSN/MSN required; on-call responsibilities and full-time schedule.

Qualificações

• RN with current license in state of practice.
• BSN or MSN required for all new hires; BSN required for internal transfers/promotions within 6 months of transfer/promotion.
• Two years of clinical management experience; leadership and knowledge of budgeting and resource management.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and facilitates patient-centered nursing care for designated patient populations, serving as a real-time clinical expert for unit staff and physicians.
• Leads change by developing, implementing and evaluating quality and process improvement initiatives in conjunction with the director.
• Oversees communication of system, regional, facility and department initiatives.
• Manages operational and capital budgets and use of resources.
• Develops staff leadership through shared leadership models and supports career advancement opportunities.
• Handles selection, orientation, onboarding, and retention; coaches, evaluates performance, and manages corrective actions.
• Leads large units or multiple clinical units to ensure excellent patient care and mentors entry-level nurse leaders.
