Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY seeks an RN Associate Director of the Operating Room to lead a large, dedicated team delivering high-quality, cost-efficient care. You will oversee OR operations, staffing, budgets and initiatives in a fast-paced, Level II trauma setting with diverse surgical cases.

The ideal candidate has RN OR experience, two years of managerial leadership, and a strong track record in clinical performance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical management experience in relevant patient population.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, influence, decision-making, analytical and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and clinical support to patients and staff in the OR.
• Oversee unit operations for smooth, efficient patient care and resource use.
• Lead quality/process improvement initiatives with director input.
• Facilitate communication of system, regional, facility and department initiatives.
• Manage operational and capital budgets and related resources.
• Develop staff leadership and support career development; coach and evaluate performance.
