Job summary

Banner Health's Wyoming Medical Center in Casper is seeking an RN Coordinator to oversee day-to-day functions of the East Campus Periop services, coordinating staffing and patient flow in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and experience in acute care. This is a full-time position (Mon-Thu, 6am–4pm) with potential to float to central campus based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies and annual validations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, plans, and directs the daily functioning and staffing needs of the unit or department.
• Determines staffing needs on a shift-to-shift basis and ensures appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Facilitates continuity of care and communication between departments and across the continuum.
• Oversees staff workflow and resource utilization within the department.
• Participates in evaluations and contributes to quality indicators and outcomes.
• May supervise staff in certain roles; enforces policy and standards of care.
• Coordinates daily workflow and educates staff; may float to central campus as needed.
