Banner University Medical Center Tucson, part of Banner Health, seeks an Associate Director of the Operating Room to provide managerial and clinical leadership across Level I Trauma service lines. You will develop leaders, support retention, manage change, and drive department efficiency in a Day shift, Monday–Friday schedule with occasional leadership calls.

The role requires OR leadership experience and a strong background in inpatient/outpatient settings, with a focus on building

Qualificações

• BSN or MSN required for all new hires.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical management experience relevant to patient population.
• Strong knowledge of clinical care management; needs critical thinking, communication, decision making.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and facilitates patient centered nursing care for designated populations; real-time clinical expert for staff and physicians.
• Leads change by developing, implementing and evaluating quality and process improvements; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Facilitates communication of system, regional, facility and department initiatives.
• Manages operational and capital budgets and use of resources.
• Develops staff leadership and supports career advancement; coaches, evaluates and fosters learning.
• Oversees selection, orientation, onboarding, retention; leadership through coaching and development.
• Manages large single unit or multiple clinical units; develops leadership of entry level nurse managers and leads clinical improvements.
