Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an RN to work in the Operating Room on a 13-week contract in Virginia. The role requires scrubbing and circulating across thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, with EPIC used for documentation.

Active nursing license and BLS (AHA) are required. The candidate should be prepared for weekend/on-call duties and a busy OR schedule with 11 suites and 25–35 cases daily.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• CNOR preferred; must be able to scrub and circulate in multiple OR specialties.

Responsibilities

• Experience in a variety of surgical cases (ortho, neuro, thoracic, spine, robotics).
• Must be able to scrub and circulate in thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho and robotics.
• Weekend and on-call shifts are part of the contract.

Description:Candidates must have experience in a variety of surgical cases.Common types of cases include ortho, neuro, maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colo-rectal, general, GYN, robotics, urology, spine, podiatry, thoracic, and breast surgeries.The facility has 11 surgical suites with an average of 25-35 cases per day.Electronic medical record system in use is EPIC.Scrubs will be provided.Weekend and on-call expectations include average shifts of 2-4 call shifts in a 6-week period, including overnight and weekends.There are no floating expectations for this position.Holiday responsibilities include being on-call during the contract timeframe.
