Job summary

Walnut Street Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to lead training initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, patient care, and staff performance. The role reports to the Operations Director and requires RN licensure in Maryland with strong EHR experience.

You will design, deliver, and supervise training across clinical and administrative teams, ensure compliance, and drive quality improvements through structured curricula and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland with proof of education.
• BLS certification required and relevant clinical experience.
• Experience with AthenaOne EHR workflows and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orientation and training focusing on workflow, systems, and EHR use.
• Educate staff on AthenaOne, AthenaDental, CRISP, i2i, and related resources.
• Provide instruction for vaccine storage, inventory, and logs.
• Design and deliver training materials for clinical and operational staff.
• Lead QA workflow implementations and monthly training to ensure measures are captured.
• Develop and manage training for clinical support, providers, and patient access staff.
• Administer the EHR system and perform chart audits.
• Maintain SDS manuals and organize annual flu clinics.
• Review and update policies, procedures, and protocols for consistency.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide ongoing staff support.
