Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland seeks a Health Center Trainer to empower clinical staff across Maryland clinics. You will lead new hire orientations, webinars, and hands-on MA training in essential functions such as patient intake, labs, and abortion care.

You will serve as Epic EMR Credential Trainer, delivering classroom and one-on-one sessions, while updating training outlines and collaborating with leadership to refine manuals and client forms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of healthcare experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Demonstrated experience training or coaching others, with strong public speaking and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to all PPM health centers (up to 100%).
• Current CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to draw blood/phlebotomy, place IVs, administer injections, and perform obstetric ultrasounds, or willingness to learn.
• Bilingual fluency preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR and creating training materials.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate New Hire Orientations, lead webinars, and provide hands-on clinical training for Medical Assistants (MAs).
• Serve as Credential Trainer for Epic EMR with regular classroom and one-on-one sessions.
• Develop and update training outlines, presentations, and resources; collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to update manuals and forms.
