Job summary

SCA Health in Laguna Woods, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care teams. You will assess patients, develop perioperative plans, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to promote safety and outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current CA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (as applicable), and preferred perioperative nursing specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
