Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at a multi-specialty surgery center. You will support perioperative care, assess patients, and contribute to individualized care plans within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has OR experience, a current nursing license, and certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS, with a focus on safety and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation.
• PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
