Job summary

SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. You will promote the mission, support the perioperative team and deliver patient-centered care across the perioperative episode.

The role requires a nursing degree, valid California RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification; PALS if pediatric care is involved. Prior OR experience is preferred and perioperative certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current California RN license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days or current certification.
• ACLS within 90 days or current certification.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included.
• Perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout perioperative care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in perioperative planning.
