PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA.

This role is 0.8 FTE with a variable schedule, offering opportunities to work with skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and technologists in a patient-centered environment. The position calls for two years of OR circulating experience or Periop 101 completion, BLS, RN licensure, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• Two years of OR circulating experience in an acute care setting or Periop 101 course within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Serve as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Delegate and coordinate care according to team member competencies.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and education opportunities.

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at St. Joseph Medical Center. Part-Time | 0.80 FTE | Variable Schedule

Salary Range: $45.78 - $82.98 per hour
Compensation is based on factors including education, training, experience, seniority, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• Two years of OR circulating experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a Periop 101 course within six months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Scrub experience
• Demonstrated expertise in perioperative nursing practice
