Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit (2A) on the night shift. This full-time role provides direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge and works as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and coworkers.

The 10-bed 2A unit cares for chemotherapy, hospice, telemetry, and post-op patients. New graduates welcome; BLS required; chemo certification due within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Oncology Unit, also known as 2A, is a 10-bed unit that provides care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care.New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
