Job summary

Baptist Health in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am). You will deliver direct patient care, participate in care planning, and contribute to a supportive team environment on a 34-bed PCU/intermediate unit. Self-scheduling and benefits make this role attractive.

Qualified candidates hold an Indiana RN license with BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire. EOE, sign-on bonus eligibility for experienced applicants.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1), our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications:
