Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 11 East Oncology Unit. This role involves rounding and caring for adults with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, with telemetry support and complex care planning. Shifts include 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; full-time and part-time options with every-other weekend/holiday requirements.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, BSN preferred, BLS, and ACLS for specified departments. Canadians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program eligible to sit NCLEX for RN licensure.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU and Emergenc(y).
• Canadian RNs are encouraged to apply.
• BSN degree required within five years of hire or transfer to an RN role.

• Registered Nurse Department: Oncology Location: Trinity Health Ann Arbor
• Position Purpose: The Saint Joseph Mercy Health System 11 East Oncology Unit is a 32 bed unit that provides services to adults with hematologic and Oncologic diagnosis to a wide range of general medical diagnosis. 11 East also utilizes generalized telemetry to care for patients. Solid tumors, hematological, malignancies, pain control, terminal illness, diabetes, chemical dependency, complex family and/or psychosocial issues, and multi-system organ diseases are commonly seen.
• Shifts Available: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  Status Available: Full time, Part time Every Other Weekend and Every other Holiday per year required for Full-time and Part-Time team members.
• Required Qualifications:
• Education
• Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.
• Licensure
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS.
• ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergenc
• Experience
• Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.
