Job summary

Avita Health System seeks dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) for their Oncology Department across multiple locations including Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care while focusing on patient advocacy and coordination of clinical operations.

Qualified candidates must hold a current RN license in Ohio, BLS and ACLS certifications (to be obtained after hiring), and be willing to pursue training for PICC/Midline insertion.

We’re currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Oncology Department at our Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion locations.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the specialty clinic. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission. Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the Oncology Manager.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 (six) months of hire.
• Current completion of an online education program for PICC/Midline insertion or will to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous experience working in an outpatient specialty clinic/center.
• Previous experience with PICC/Midlines.
