Job summary

Avita Health System seeks dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) for their Oncology Department across multiple locations including Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care while focusing on patient advocacy and coordination of clinical operations.

Qualified candidates must hold a current RN license in Ohio, BLS and ACLS certifications (to be obtained after hiring), and be willing to pursue training for PICC/Midline insertion.

Qualifications

Must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans and implements nursing care for patients in the specialty clinic.
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Acts as patient advocate focused on the facility’s mission.
