Job summary

Avita Health System in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care across units, and ensuring continuity between shifts while guiding nursing assistants and staff.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit.
• Supervises the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and acts as patient advocate.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)s to join our Critical Care Float Pool.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
