Job summary

Avita Health System seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the OB team at the Ontario location in Ohio. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring continuity across shifts and supervising nursing assistants and supportive staff.

It is a patient-centered role focused on teaching and advocacy within a mission-driven organization. Preferred experience includes OB nursing and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE).

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• NRP
• STABLE
• Nursing experience

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• NRP
• STABLE
• Nursing experience

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous OB nursing experience.
• C-EFM
