Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg Department at our Galion location. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients and ensure continuity of care while supervising nursing staff.

Successful candidates will hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio and have BLS & ACLS certification. Experience in nursing and telemetry is preferred. Join a supportive team committed to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• Two or more years of previous nursing experience preferred.
• Previous telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg Department at our Galionlocation.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous telemetry experience.
• PALS certification. (For charge trained nurses.)
