Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health’s Maternal Child Services team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby and related areas. Valid NJ RN license and BLS/CPR are required, with at least 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency program.

Experience in maternal child services is preferred; ACLS/NRP are a plus and should be obtained within 6 months of hire. BSN in progress is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program
• Maternal child services experience in a hospital setting including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby nursery is preferred
• ACLS preferred, must obtain within 6 months
• NRP preferred, must obtain within 6 months
• Inpatient Obstetrics and/or External Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
