The role requires NJ nursing licensure and BLS/CPR, with preferred experience in maternal-child areas. NRP/ACLS are valued and may be pursued within 6 months of hire; BSN is preferred or obtained within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in Maternal Child Department areas preferred.
• NRP certification and ACLS highly preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Ability to learn quickly, strong teamwork, and patient-focused care.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care to a diverse population.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and health-care team regarding patient status and plans of care.
• Responsible for optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Medication administration utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology for safe delivery.
• Patient and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
