Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a qualified nurse to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a dynamic team. You will communicate with patients and colleagues, administer medications safely, and participate in care planning from admission to discharge.

A valid NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR are required; maternal-child experience is preferred, with BSN preferred or pursued within 3 years. NRP/ACLS desired within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license.
• Active AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in Maternal Child Department areas preferred.
• BSN preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• NRP and ACLS highly preferred, must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient-centered care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health-care team regarding patient status and plans.
• Ensure optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medications utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Provide patient and family-centered care to optimize health, wellness and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines to manage the patient plan from admission to discharge and ensure safe transitions.
