Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health’s Jersey University Medical Center Labor and Delivery team seeks qualified RN candidates for Nursery and Maternal Child Services. This role supports Labor, Delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby care in a Baby Friendly environment.

Current NJ RN license and BLS/CPR are required, with 6 months nursing experience or Nurse Residency participation. ACLS/NRP preferred and may be obtained within 6 months. Strong teamwork and patient-centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• RN Nursery experience is required.
• Maternal child services experience in a hospital setting including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby nursery is preferred.
• ACLS is preferred, must obtain within 6 months.
• NRP is preferred, must obtain within 6 months.
• Inpatient Obstetrics and/or External Fetal Monitoring Certification is a plus.
