Job summary

Bradley Medical Center, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to contribute to patient-centered care across hospital units. You will plan, supervise, and evaluate nursing care aligned with medical plans and policies.

The role requires an approved nursing program graduate, active TN or Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS; ACLS must be obtained within 30 days if not yet certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with state licensure (Diploma preferred).
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license.
• Current BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information about patients and families.
• Follow safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care.
• Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.
• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights.

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

General Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care.
• Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.
• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights.

Job Description Education

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.

Experience

• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
