Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the northwest Georgia and southeast Tennessee region is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a designated unit using the nursing process.

This role supports professional growth with potential to assume Shift Leader responsibilities and advance to Level II or III, working with adult, geriatric, pediatric, and adolescent populations. A Georgia RN license or multi-state license is required, with BLS CPR compliance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN.
  • Licensure: Georgia RN or multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN. American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
  • Experience: None
  • Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process.
  • Manages care of assigned patients.

JOB SUMMARY

Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Shift Leader responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement to Level II or Level III. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations or pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program or will obtain prior to working as a RN

Licensure: Current Georgia RN or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria professional licensure or will obtain prior to beginning work as a RN. American Heart Association BLS CPR required.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
