Job summary

Vitruvian Health in the United States is seeking a registered nurse to join our unit team. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, plan care, and collaborate with physicians, families, and colleagues to deliver high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN license (or multi-state license via eNLC), BLS CPR, and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Georgia or a multi-state license meeting eNLC criteria.
• BLS CPR required; PALS preferred.
• Experience: None.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.

Job Summary

Provides direct care to patients on a given unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Is responsible for managing care of assigned patients. Demonstrates professional growth and development by assuming Shift Leader responsibilities as requested and/or in preparation for advancement to Level II or Level III. Works primarily with adult and geriatric patient populations or pediatric and adolescent patients on assigned units. Demonstrates ability to provide timely and efficient patient care to meet patient needs and expectations. Fosters an environment of teamwork and collaboration with staff members. Performs all standards in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

• American Heart Association BLS CPR required; PALS preferred

• Skills: Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Competency consistent with core nursing skills. Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and other associates throughout the organization in order to provide excellent care and maintain effective working relationships.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Works in typical acute health care setting with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Requires exposure to communicable disease or body fluids.
