Job summary

Bradley Medical Center, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with the medical team, and ensure adherence to policies. The role emphasizes ethical care, safety, and patient advocacy in a hospital setting.

The RN must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold or be eligible for Tennessee licensure, and obtain BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS within 30 days if not already certified on hire). Two years of hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing (Diploma preferred).

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

General Responsibilities

• Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical, or employment status or patients of Bradley Medical Center and their families.
• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Utilize the nursing process to oversee and provide age specific patient care.
• Communicate in an acceptable and easily understood manner.
• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights.

Job Description Education

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.

Experience

• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
