Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Tennessee seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate patient care across units, applying the nursing process to deliver age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient confidentiality, participating in performance improvement activities, and educating patients while developing and updating care plans; TN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required, with ACLS to be obtained within 30 days if not current.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing, with verification of state licensure.
• Two years hospital/medical environment experience preferred.
• Current TN or Compact state RN license; BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within 30 days if not current.

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

General Responsibilities

• Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and hospital.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.

• Develops, implements, and updates plan of care.
• Educates and adheres to patient bill of rights.

Job Description Education

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred.

Experience

• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
