Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 7am–7pm with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays, within a hospital setting.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care and continuity across shifts. Illinois RN licensed nurses with NIHSS and CPR are preferred, BSN and ACLS a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing; Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required.
• Preferred: BSN, ACLS, 1+ year inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in observation unit.
