Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. Shift is 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. An Illinois RN license and CPR are required; BSN/ACLS are preferred and inpatient experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor's required within five years if only an associate's degree.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS Stroke Scale certification (required).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, surgical care experience, ACLS certification, and 1 year inpatient experience
