Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an experienced registered nurse for the Observation Unit-1A. The RN will follow ANA standards, document care, and perform patient assessments and treatments in a fast-paced setting.

Requires 1+ year RN experience, BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN, and Arizona RN license (or compact state). A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available; BLS and unit certifications are required.

Qualifications

• BSN must be completed within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Current Arizona nursing license (or compact state licensure) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• National certification for unit population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms to aid diagnosis and care planning.
• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to guide treatment decisions.
• Administer treatment and medications with careful dosage checks and monitoring.
• Develop and adjust a care plan in collaboration with physicians and the team.
• Educate patients and families on post‑treatment care and home management.
