Job summary

HonorHealth's Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit-1A in a day shift. The role requires 1+ year of med-surg experience, a current Arizona RN license, and completion of a BSN within 60 months or 5+ years nursing experience. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.

The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, medication administration, care planning, and family education within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• RN responsibilities include collecting data, developing a care plan, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and care teams.
• Ensures patient safety, accurate documentation, and ongoing evaluation of care plans.
• Promotes patient and family education and supports staff development.

Responsibilities

• Record patient histories and symptoms; assist with diagnostics and treatments.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
• Develop and adjust care plans; educate patients and families on post-care needs.
