Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the High Point Observation Unit. The role involves coordinating comprehensive patient care, applying the nursing process, and ensuring safe, patient-centered outcomes in a fast-paced 12-bed general medical-surgical setting.

Eligible candidates have an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license (state-issued), BLS certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
