Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decision Unit on a 36-hour work week (3 x 12-hour day shifts). The 24-bed observation/medical unit handles chest pain, kidney stones and overflow medical/surgical cases, with strong hospitalist collaboration to ensure high-quality care.

The RN will perform nursing processes, employ evidence-based practice, and communicate compassionately to maintain a safe environment and positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care according to standards and procedures.
