Job summary

The Observation Unit at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to join the team. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care. This role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, a current RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

The unit offers a supportive, team-oriented environment with rotating weekends. Hours are 36 per week, full-time, with a 7a-7p schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
