Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking aRegistered Nurse to provide total direct nursing care for patients in accordance with standards of care, unit policies and guidelines. The role requires collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include continuous patient care planning, education coordination for patients and families, and timely communication of patient status to supervisors and physicians.

Qualifications

• Requires graduating from a nursing program with a nursing degree.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in WA or hold a multi-state NLC license.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and acts as patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates patient and family education.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaborates with physicians and the care team on plans of care.
• Communicates all relevant information to supervisor and physicians in a timely manner.
• Documents changes in patient condition to the charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Wage Range: $45.19 - $82.30 per hour

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary

Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Primary Duties

• Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.
• Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
• Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
• Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
• Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience

REQUIRED for the position:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and/or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree)
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington OR holding a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association by start date

DESIRED for the position:
