Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks an RN Coordinator to provide direct nursing care and lead patient-care teams at one of our Houston locations. The role emphasizes safe patient handling, documentation, and adherence to care standards.

The position requires Texas RN licensure, BCLS, and at least 2 years of clinical experience, with CPR/IV skills and team leadership. Salary is hourly with comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department.
• CRT experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Provide team leadership to enhance unit flow and functioning.
• Support care coordination and health education for patients and families.
• Perform technical and supportive patient care skills (e.g., immunization administration, IV therapy).
• Ensure infection control practices and sterile technique.
• Accurately document and communicate to care providers; manage confidentiality.
• Assist with equipment and supply maintenance; ensure safety standards.
• Manage patient rights, informed consent, and handling of complaints.
• Support staff development and be a preceptor when needed.
