Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator to provide direct nursing care, patient education, and leadership to improve unit flow. The role supports care across multiple specialties and focuses on delivering high-quality, safe patient care at one of our Houston locations.

As a coordinator, you will lead a clinical team, document accurately, manage information flow, and ensure compliance with safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department.
• CRT experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Lead the station or unit to improve flow and functioning.
• Assist with rooming and patient information gathering, plan of care, and health maintenance guidance.
