Job summary

Avita Health System in Ontario, OH is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Department. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, supervising staff, and engaging in patient education.

The ideal candidate will hold a current registered nurse license in Ohio, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of nursing experience and previous ICU experience. Qualifications

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Department at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
