Job summary

KARCHERSNF is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tours of duty within a long-term care facility. You will ensure high-quality care by complying with federal, state, and local regulations and by coordinating with the DON/ADON when applicable.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage nursing staff and ensure adherence to care plans and policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university and an active RN license.
• CPR certification is required and ongoing continuing education is expected.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; strong supervisory and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Assist in directing daily nursing functions and coordinating with DON/ADON as applicable.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and manuals; report to Director as needed.
• Participate in committees and ensure quality assurance and patient care plans are followed.
• Ensure adequate staffing and supervision of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during shifts.
