Job summary

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals seeks a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead the nursing department under the DON, planning, directing, and evaluating total patient care. The role emphasizes clinical excellence and compliance in a hospital setting.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure medication administration and IV therapy adherence, perform rounds, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes. IN RN license and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in IN.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate total patient care and to assume management responsibilities for the nursing department.
• Directs nursing staff and provides guidance to correct deviations from standards.
• Renders professional nursing care including administering medications and IV therapy.
• Makes rounds and observes patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and hospital departments to resolve operational problems.
