Job summary

ScionHealth seeks a Nursing Supervisor in Dayton to lead the Nursing Department when administration is out of the building. You will implement nursing goals within budget, supervise staff, assess patient needs and organize staff training across the unit.

The role requires a BSN/Nursing degree, a valid RN license, and 3–5 years in behavioral health with 1–2 years in supervision. Hours are in a traditional hospital setting with a 24/7 care environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Valid state RN license.
• 3-5 years nursing experience in a behavioral health hospital environment.
• 1-2 years supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise nursing staff and assign duties.
• Develop nursing protocols and procedures.
• Provide continuing education and staff development.
• Assess patient needs and document nursing care.
• Maintain patient health care records and supply inventories.
• Monitor compliance with corporate agreements.
